
Memorandum that John Jacob alias Robinson, a customary tenant of the manor, surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the Manor, by the hands of Thomas Page, in the presence of William Jacob…. all and singular his customary lands… held by copy of court roll… to be regranted by the Lord of the Manor according to the wishes expressed in the last will and testament of John Jacob. Dated 16th January 1706. On 4 pages of paper, the first with text, c 19 x 30 cms, the text slightly faded, signed by both John and William Jacob, with their mark ‘X’.
