“An Act of Parliament begun and held at Westminster 10th November 1747 (printed 1754), to continue several laws for prohibiting the importation of books reprinted abroad, and first composed or written, and printed in England; for the free importation of Cochineal or Indico, and relating to rice, frauds in the customs, the clandestine running of goods etc….and for the better encouragement of making sail cloth in Britain; and to authorize the payment of the bounty to Alexander Baron and others upon a ship fitted for the whale industry, and lost in the Greenland seas”  etc… Paper, c 18 x 29 cms, slightly creased, disbound.
