Rent Reciepts for Plumdon Park 1684 – 1754

A bundle of 30 rent receipts for land of the manor of Longhoughton in Northumberland, the earliest 1684, the latest 1754. Most of the earlier ones were for rent paid by Benjamin Adams, and the later ones by Elizabeth Adams, presumably his widow. They were for a farm called Plumdon Park, although the later ones mention another farm, Longhoughton Farm, as occasionally other property. They are all rent receipts bar one, which is a receipt for tithes. The receipts are signed for the most part by Robert Adams and subsequently by Thomas Adams, as receivors of the Duke of Somerset (the later ones of the Duke of Northumberland).

PRICE: £30.00, including postage within the UK.
